DON’T OVERWATER: Water your succulent using the soak and dry method ONCE per week or when the soil is dry. Resist the urge to overwater.

WELL-DRAINING SOIL: Use a soil specifically made for cactus and/or succulents. They thrive with the well-draining qualities of a specialized succulent soil.

PICK THE RIGHT PLANTER: A planter with at least one drainage hole is ideal but if you don’t have one, be sure to give your succulent less water each week. When using planters without drainage holes, add a layer of rock to the bottom of the planter to prevent roots from sitting in water for too long.

PROPAGATION TECHNIQUES: You can propagate succulents by using one of the following techniques: dry (or air), soil, and some can even tolerate water propagation. I like to just lay my leaves on a bed of soil somewhere out of the direct sun and watch them grow!
